It doesn't work that way. You will only get general tips, not sccpifies.Basically, pay off your credit cards. Carrying balances of morethan 30% hurts your score. Pay them off and get a quick score boost.Paying off derogatory items won't improve your score unless you get the item removed. But paid old debt looks better than unpaid. Creditors look at more than just your score. You will probably get the best info on how to improve (still just general info) at MyFico.com. You have to pay for the scores but you will get real FICO and not Fako that a couple of the credit bureaus sell you.Basically, time and consistent good payment history builds up your score.

annualcreditreport.com is the real free site to check your credit file for free once a year whoitut a credit card. NOT freecreditreport.com Avoid the temptation to pay a credit repair firm, as they cannot remove accurate negative info. If you’ve had recent defaults, charge-offs, late pays, then you need to understand these items have to age of your credit report naturally. After 7 years from the date of default you'll get a clean slate. Credit repair firms have no special power to magically delete negative items .all they do is dispute all negative items on your credit report and hope that the credit bureaus cannot validate the debt within the 30 day allowable time frame, in which case they must remove the items. You don't have to pay anyone to do this as you can do it yourself for free.Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act you have the right to request written validation of negative entries on your credit files. Per this law they must validate the item(s) within 30 days or remove them from your credit file. Mail a letter via certified mail with return receipt to all three credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion Experian). Include a photocopy of your driver's license and social security card If you don't include these, they may write back requesting them, which would slow the process down by several weeks. For each negative item, write a separate letter and simply include the phrase:Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I am requesting written validation of this item.Do this one at a time for each negative entry .DO NOT request validation for all items at one time. There is NO guarantee that this will work .It may give some decent results. The worst that can happen is that all negative items come back verified.

Three late credit card payments can cause thousands of dollars of economic damage, and if there is a residential refinance or purchase costs increase, again thousands of dollars.

The ability to borrow against the value of real property is also affected by credit reputation damage. Prior to injury, for example, an injured party could borrow up to 90 percent of the value of the property. After the injury occurred, the amount available was reduced to 70 percent of the value. The amount of money that could be borrowed was reduced. Additionally, when credit is damaged, the interest rate increases as well, so not only was the amount of credit available reduced, but also the cost of borrowing that amount increased, making it more expensive to borrow against the value of the real property. Credit capacity was decreased by the 20 percent plus the property owner experienced increased borrowing costs.

.Considering the evolution on the methods of measuring the credit worthiness of a borrower through credit reports and scores it is inevitable that the too much quantified system may slip in case of data mishandlings. .It is deemed that accredited financial bureaus are unable to process and house too much volume of data and still make it accurate. The failure to maintain accuracy in their reports and scores has posted new dilemmas on rightfulness of data and its acceptability. Due to such investigation results public pressure and consumer lobbying forced the government to passed laws such as the Fair credit reporting Act or FCRA to give off a leveled playing field for disputes and correcting of this information.
